the X20 seems to be 5GHz Wifi certified. Some said it comes with BT 5.1 too

It is quite disappointing: Neither FHD screen, nor snapdragon 690 or higher… And those prices are too high.

isn’t 5.4 starts at $199? My country receives 4GB/128GB variant at approximately ~$220 which is cheaper than US version sold directly by Nokia. That price range is realistic for 5.4 successor, and why I mean it as 5.4 successor is that 5.3 lacks gyroscope which is unacceptable at its price range and chipset. it leads to 5.4’s quite rushed production given it’s using 3.4 mold and some reviewers show that there’s a visible dent when pressing the back cover too hard.

imo hmd these days is the reference Android One and Android Go OEM. If they don’t bother much with extreme low end, I don’t think google won’t even care debloating and tuning their source code so it’s passable on extremely low end device. there’s still a point for google and qualcomm to invest with hmd and in some way it’s fruitful.

anyway give bootloader unlock and hmd device would be near perfect. some of the phones have stable vendor implementation so swapping with Lineage GSI is great when the device is outdated, like 5.1 and 6.1

It will be interesting to see what price point they choose for these two. It will have to be competitive to get a good market share. I would like to see them launch at a reasonable price and keep them at that price for their market life.

Personally I think that €200 for the X10 and and €250 for the X20 seem much more realistic prices, especially compared to other OEMs.
Anyway, we won’t know for certain until they actually release something.

I don’t think both devices will have the same specs.
Nokia 6.1 plus and Nokia 7.1 comes to my mind, they both had the same processor, but Nokia 7.1 had Zeiss camera lens and Pure display technology.
Will it be the same here?
But again only HD+ screen and 10w charging support is a bummer here.
