i wonder when can nokia release a balanced budget midrange device like the Nord 2… oled with high refresh, fast charging, OIS, and no notch! doesn’t seem impossible to do but still they cannot make it…i guess i will keep dreaming…

Nokia should expand its range for Canadian market as well and not just US. The strategy of low cost carrier partnered devices would work in Canada too as currently there are not a lot of options and mid range is dominated by Samsung. They can still make inroads on basis of better exposure.

I guess for cheap, carrier bound phone their strategy is doing well. I noticed that they launched carrier-exclusive phones in the US since last year and only XR20 makes its way. You can see this in Nokia US website too and none of the new phones are listed. Sure they will release an iteration of G60/X30 but it’s not identical just like X100 to X10

To keep this market share they will certainly have to do better than they currently are with monthly security patches and Android updates for their range of phones and tablets. Currently for the rest of the world they are certainly not doing well.
