The strategy of low cost carrier partnered devices would work in Canada too as currently there are not a lot of options and mid range is dominated by Samsung. They can still make inroads on basis of better exposure.

I noticed that they launched carrier-exclusive phones in the US since last year and only XR20 makes its way. You can see this in Nokia US website too and none of the new phones are listed. Sure they will release an iteration of G60/X30 but it’s not identical just like X100 to X10
