I’m not asking for 9999Hz refresh rate or an SD888, but for the top of the range to be an SD480 and not a single OLED in the entire catalogue…. It’s pretty sad. After much thought, and being about to buy a Nokia X20, this week I opted for a Motorola Edge 30. A phone with similar features in Nokia’s catalogue, balanced even without being a flagship, would be perfect. I don’t understand the current strategy.

X series allows them to make affordable 5G access given x series is midrange. And it’s more than speed bump and BT.

Just take software release timeline loosely. It’s common to have delays in IT industry.

That’s why I opted for Sony Xperia 10 IV instead (SD 695, lightweight, slim design, small bezels, 5000mah). I’m a Nokia fan, rooting for them. But I want a phone that can fit my pocket and reasonable specs!

Totally disagree. The 480+ is just a small speed bump on their two performance cores and Bluetooth 5.2. It also allows you to use your mobile data a little quicker. It’s decent for mid range, but the X series should really come with a SD 695.

Also X10, mine is still on March Patch and its now June. I moved from the 8.3 because the updates were always late and now the same thing is happening on the X10. So much for 3 yrs of monthly updates, they are now more like quarterly updates.

Qualcomm 480+ is a great choice for affordable flagships that nokia and hmd are planning. Good job
