In reply to h_1995. yeah but it's not just about the adaptation layer on the soc, they are more or less same as google is smart about the OS application and core service and Ui layer updates. So blame it on the vendor.

In reply to Signor. ask chipset manufacfurer (Qualcomm etc) for that. they don't bother with updating their device source let alone maintaining firmware binaries. it's the reason why ROM developers stopped updating their forks after a few years due to bugs and quirks that only chipset manufacturer can solve

Great but on a separate note I am now no more going to support Nokia Mobile or HMD because this bullshit of 2-3 years of pure secured Android is a hoax. look at Apple they are still supporting iPhone 6s with iOS15 and Google’s update policy is a scam and even HMD is a scam. IMO all Nokia Mobile phones launched in 2017 should qualify for Android 12. So, Google and it’s OEMs are basically creating planned obsolesce of the hardware. This is not ethical IMO. And the customers should take the fight to the OEMs and Google.
